Kick off Your 2015 Stress Free!

Are you often feeling stressed? What is your stress level? If your answer is medium or higher, you are not alone. According to a survey by American Psychological Association, 64% of people rated their stress level at middle to extreme. The percentage is even higher for Millennial generation, who report more depression and anxiety from work and life.

At the beginning of the new year, we are so glad to have Mr. Curtis Songer, the principle at Truth@Life, share with us his expertise and methods for stress management.

Objectives of the Workshop:
1. To understand the sources of stress in our society.
2. To identify the negative impact stress can have on your life.

3. To examine early signs of stress in your own life.

4. Identify unhealthy ways some people respond to stress.
5. To learn some healthy, practical methods of effective stress management.
6. To resource the participants who want to learn more.

You should consider taking this workshop if any of the following apply to you:
1. You sometimes respond to stress in an unhealthy way such as over-eating, smoking, drinking or otherwise self-medicating.
2. You feel underappreciated or disrespected in your relationships and ineffective at changing the situation.
3. It seems like people have unrealistic expectations of you.
4. You've lost hope for a better tomorrow.
5. You have difficulty managing your emotions.
6. You’re in need of boundaries in your life.
7. You struggle with anger and resolving conflict.
8. Your feelings sometimes control your actions.
9. You’re stressed to the point of being ready to quit and walk away from a position or a relationship.

10. You become anxious or depressed when over stressed and could use some “emergency stress stoppers.”
