Tour Central Blood Bank with your fellow PYP members for an evening of networking and discover the process of blood  collection, testing and distribution.

Central Blood Bank, a not-for-profit organization, was established in Pittsburgh in 1951. The blood center supplies 160,000 units of blood, blood products and transfusion-related services to 42 local hospitals to care for the sick and injured in our area. With more than 25 donor centers, Central Blood Bank relies on local donors to meet the needs of the next medical emergency. Nearly 38 percent of the population is eligible to donate. Less than 5 percent do. Help support our mission. Donate Blood. Support Life.
