Everyday when you walk into work, you could be faced with a crisis- big or small. A company could come cross a failure too- such as the BP's disastrous 2010 oil spill, or the recent Volkswagen diesel scandal. Unlike risk management, which involves planning for events that might occur in the future, crisis management involves reacting to an event once it has occurred.

This workshop teaches young professionals “the formula” to responding to a fiasco and provides examples for brilliant crisis management.

About the speaker:
William Valenta, Jr. the Assistant Dean of MBA and Executive Programs at the University of Pittsburgh's Katz Business school is going here to ensure we are equipped to handle crisis in the workplace. Whether it be internal or external crisis, big or small- he will use his tactics through his years of experience to prepare you for all forms of crisis.
