We are excited to announce our next Dine & Develop event! This professional development series enables young professionals a chance to network over dinner while discussing business and other professional development topics.

Join us to discuss how to build and scale a business and manage your career!

Our special guest, Terri Sokoloff, President of Specialty Group, will discuss entrepreneurship and leadership, and will share tips for managing your career in your 20's and 30's.

Sokoloff brings over 30 years of experience to the table (literally) to share. Breaking ground in Pittsburgh’s burgeoning restaurant scene, she built Specialty Group from the ground up with her husband, starting in 1986. Specialty Group is a Commercial Real Estate and Bar/Restaurant Business Brokerage that handles sales and leasing. The other divisions under the Specialty Group umbrella include Lending and Liquor Licensing which encompasses the purchase, sale and/or transfer of a license. Sokoloff is a licensed real estate broker, a certified real estate brokerage manager (CRB), and a certified business intermediary (CBI) and a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE). An active mentor, she takes a no-nonsense approach when giving advice to young professionals.

Our dinner location, Olive or Twist, is an upscale restaurant and Pittsburgh’s premier martini bar, located in the heart of the Cultural District downtown. They feature New American cuisine including their signature calamari. In addition to offering over 20 unique specialty martinis, they also have extensive beer and wine selections.
