Join the Professional Development Committee at the Pittsburgh Glass Center to make your very own glass ornament. You will get a glassblowing demonstration and a guided tour of the facility. You’ll learn about the history of glass in Pittsburgh and the current contemporary exhibition in the Hodge Gallery. You can get up close and see artists at work before making your own glass masterpiece.
There will be networking from 5:30 until 6:00pm, then we will begin the tour and demonstration. You will have time to mingle throughout the event as there will be some down time between participants making ornaments. Please make every effort to be at the Pittsburgh Glass Center no later than 6:30pm.
