CCChampions - Connecting Champions

Are you searching for ways to become more involved in the volunteering community in Pittsburgh? Are you wondering how you can start to give back to those in need and to this great city of Pittsburgh?

Join us for the first Get Involved event of the year! It will be a fun filled evening as PYP learns about CCChampions and their March 2 Friendship fundraiser that benefits local children with pediatric cancer. Every year, people across the country form March Madness teams with their coworkers, friends, and classmates to help raise money for local children with cancer.

At this event, we will learn what CCChampions is all about, how they serve the community of Pittsburgh, and children suffering with cancer. Attendees will be responsible for their own beverages at Wigle Whiskey in the Strip District. And there will be a food truck to purchase food from Pittsburgh Tortas Food truck. (pittsburghtortas.com/menu).

CCChampions (www.ccchampions.com)  is a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit that helps kids with cancer through the developmental & social challenges of the disease. They match each child with an inspirational role model who can be there every step of the way. Their efforts help to ensure that children continue to learn and grow throughout the treatment process.

In addition to learning about CCChampions, you have the option to join in the fun and create March Madness brackets to help raise money for children with cancer. PYP will be forming their own March Madness Bracket Team for PYP Members!  If you would like to join in the bracket making fun, there is a $10 minimum to join and the money goes to charity.

Please note, there are limited spaces available for this event. Register before spaces fill up!

Parking: There are limited spaces in front of Wigle. Also, there is street parking that is free after 6pm and a garage located next to Wigle.
