Get Involved! Wilkinsburg Park Cleanup

Join Pittsburgh Young Professionals (PYP) as we head to Wilkinsburg for a fall park cleanup! We will be partnering with the borough to cleanup Ferguson Park on South Ave!

Some tools will be provided for the event; however, we recommend that everyone BYOR – Brings Your Own Rake, as well as any other tools you may have. We will be raking leaves, cleaning the park, and preparing it for the winter. If time permits, we hope to make some improvements to the park as well and maybe clean a second park if enough show!

Ferguson Park is located two blocks south of Penn Avenue, where Center Street intersects South Avenue. It has a large playground area with two jungle gyms, a dome climber, and activity centers for young children. There’s also a full basketball court, a covered picnic area with tables, and ample benches to take a rest on.
