If you've always wanted to improve on your cooking skills, now is the time! Join PYP to cook along with Jen Clark, owner of Crate Kitchenware Store and Cooking School. We will be making Farmer's Market Pasta! The ingredients required to make the dish are below:

Farmer’s Market Pasta
Ingredient list:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3-4 cups assorted Farmers Market vegetables, chopped
  • (zucchini, summer squash, onions, peppers, mushrooms)
  • ¼ to ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 5 cups chicken or vegetable stock
  • 1 (14 oz) can LaValle Cherry Tomatoes (we carry these, they are the best…but can sub any canned cherry tomato or even diced tomatoes)
  • 1 whole garlic clove
  • 16 oz penne
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • kosher salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup Parmesan plus extra for serving
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast or thighs (optional)

As far as equipment, attendees will need a cutting board, knife and a big sauté pan (a stock pot would do as an alternative as well).
